The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), Bureau of Trade Regulation and Consumer Protection under Dir. Victorio Mario A. Dimagiba announces that 59 out of 138 equivalent to 42.8% passed the Real Estate Appraisers Licensure Examination given by the Board of Examiners for Real Estate Appraisers in Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao and Lucena on November 25, 2007.

The members of the Board of Examiners for Real Estate Appraisers who gave the licensure examination are REA Elmer R. Rivera and REA Marissa Y. Benitez. Successful examinees should personally register and secure their license from the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI). The oathtaking ceremony of the successful examinees in the said examination as well as the previous ones who have not taken their Oath of Professional will be announced by the Bureau of Trade Regulation and Consumer Protection.

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 6 applicants were approved for registration without examination as Librarians per Board Resolution No. 07 Series of 2007 in accordance with the provisions of Sec. 19 of R.A. No. 9246, otherwise known as the "Philippine Librarianship Act of 2003".

Registration for the issuance of Certificate of Registration and Professional Identification Card will start on December 5, 2007 but not later than December 21, 2007. Those who will register are required to bring the following: Duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal, current Community Tax Certificate (cedula), 2 pieces passport size picture (colored with white background and complete nametag), 2 sets of metered documentary stamps, and one brown envelope with name and profession; and to pay the following: Examination Fee of 900.00; Registration Fee of P600.00 and Annual Registration Fee of P450.00 for 2007-2010; and to personally register and sign the Roster of Registered Professionals. The oathtaking ceremonies of the registrants as well as the previous ones who have not taken their Oath of Professionals will be held before the Board on Monday, January 7, 2008 at 1:30 in the afternoon at the Manila Hotel, One Rizal Park, Manila.
